A unique vacation experience, offering relaxation
balanced with learning adventures in the Rocky Mountains.
Catering to independent & solo travelers or small groups.
We can arrange for private lessons for beginners, as well as group "clinic" lessons. We use only guides who have had previous experience in working with women, and have been highly rated for their friendly personality and teaching methods. Also, we can arrange for women guides in most areas. This can be half-day or full day lessons; and, other activities can be planned for the surrounding area, including hiking and exploring the Rocky Mt. National Park.Your teacher will instruct you in all the basics, like roll cast, pickup, lay down cast, false cast, shooting line. Take an ice tea break, and learn about the equipment, dry-fly action, equipment selection, knots, where the trout live, insects that trout feed on, fly selection, and more. Our guides will make sure that the excitement of fishing will override the schooling by the time you leave.
You will then go out on the river or pocket canyon or lake, depending on the area you choose, and try out your new skills. This includes possible lessons in the Rocky Mt. National Park.

This has been something I have always wanted to do, but like most people, there was always something else to take care of, and I didn't get around to it. Now, thanks to you and your group...you have put together a package that was super." Nancy Flannigan 2005
